A Sunday Sail with Soren ..

Our Auckland Harbour cruise on 17 January 2010 was a very pleasant and relaxed affair.

Despite a lack of early breeze we managed to get the squares and mains'l set nicely and have time to break out the safety harnesses and get a some keen sailors aloft to the foretop. We hoped to see Prince William, on his official visit to NZ, on the water and so salute him in the traditional Soren manner.. Sadly he went out on NZL40 after we had returned, so a polite wave and dipped ensign had to suffice.
