This impressive square rigger is available for charter in Auckland during December 2010, January & February 2011.
Soren Larsen provides a distinctive venue for prestigious hospitality events on the Harbour. Twlight dinner cruises or afternoon sailings can be organised for groups of 30 to 72 guests. We can organise the complete function to suit your individual objectives and budget.
| GUESTS | Maximum 85 persons for harbour cruises, maximum 120 guests for alongside
the quay functions, maximum 20 guests seated for a formal dinning
in the main saloon. |
| CREW | 13 uniformed crew will welcome guests aboard, handle lines and set
sails aloft, and where appropriate, talk on the vessel's history. |
| CATERING | A selection of quality menus are available, see attached. Alternatively
you are welcome to use your own caterer. |
| BAR | There is a fully licensed bar on board |
| CRUISE TIMES | For afternoon or evening charters four hours are recommended to take
full advantage of the ship under sail, but we endeavour to schedule
sailing times to your requirements |
| OVERNIGHT CHARTERS |
With comfortable cabin accommodation for up to 22 guests, the ship
also offers a unique 2 or 3 day hospitality event, team-building exercises
or an alternative conference venue. |
| MUSIC | Live music is available from classical to jazz or pop. The ship's own music system takes CDs. |
| AWNINGS | Deck awnings ensure that events are safe from interruption by weather. |
| APPAREL | Søren Larsen polo shirts, rugby tops, caps or T-shirts can
be custom embroidered to celebrate your charter. This high quality
NZ made apparel can make a memorable gift for your guests. |
| SAFETY | Fully surveyed to NZ and UK MSA standards and carries comprehensive
safety equipment. |
