Join Soren Larsen, this world renown tall ship for a spectacular ocean passage to Rapa Nui - Easter Island, or the extended adventure onwards to the Bounty mutineers last refuge at Pitcairn and the rarely visited tropical islands of the Marqueses. From Tahiti we sail west on a series of voyages across the heart of Polynesia to Samoa, Fiji and into the untouched beauty asnd undisturbed culture of the islands of Vanuatu.

Robert Louis Stevenson’s writings had always had strong and vivid associations with sea. However it was in the latter years of his life that he undertook adventure voyages in schooners and yawls of a similar size to Soren.
In 1888 Stevenson set out with his family to explore the South Pacific and recorded his fascination with its islands and peoples in his memoir “In the South Seas”.
His accounts tell of his impressions of the Marquesas islands, the Tuamotu atolls, the remoter isles of the Cooks and of course, his final landfall in Samoa. In 2008 we shall follow many of his journeys and observe what has changed and what has remained untouched at his island destinations.
