Soren
Larsen has departed Lautoka having boarded the new Voyage Crew
from the Coopers Company & Coborn School in the UK
for the start of this next passage to Vanuatu.
Wednesday
7th August 2002:
The
crew of the previous voyage from Tonga left the ship at the weekend
and have already traveled to the Namara village on the island
of Wayasewa to carry on the school project there and spend a week
experiencing village life.
Captain
Tony Davies has sailed Soren to the Yasawa Group and today plans
a surprise visit to Wayasa so that the two school crews can meet
up, share experiences and enjoy an afternoon together as their
adventures cross here. Our thanks to the people of Namara and
to the principal of the school there Mrs. Namuaira, for making
this exciting part of the Coopers Coborn school project possible.

Arrival
at Namara village, Wayasewa

Soren
Larsen will return to Lautoka on Thurs/Fri for fuel and provisions
and Customs clearance before sailing west to Vanuatu.
